2018 Seminar – Demystifying Bone Grafting: Current Philosophies, Techniques, and Materials

There are situations where limited bone volume hinders our ability to restore the form, function, and health of a patient utilizing dental implants. Bone grafting allows us to preserve or recreate the “foundation” for dental implants, in order to create long lasting esthetic and functional results. This year’s seminar focuses on the many techniques, materials, and staging needed to obtain optimum results as well as when these procedures are most appropriate.

Course objectives:

  • To review the principles of bone grafting
  • To review the various categories of bone grafting in implant dentistry
  • To discuss the current available materials
  • To discuss when alternatives to bone grafting may be applicable
